I Love You, China
On September 26th, the I Love You, China chorus performance commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War was held at the Xingye Hall of Shenyang Normal University. School leaders Yang Song, Li Hongjun, Yang Xu, Tong Yuping, Zhao Liqiang, and Tang Libao attended the event. Heads of various functional departments of the institution, members of the leadership teams of each college, all counselors, and 2025 freshmen participated in and watched the exhibition through a combination of online and offline methods, revisiting the turbulent years, inspiring patriotic enthusiasm, and consolidating the power of progress in the stirring melody.
This exhibition is organized by the Student Work Department (Student Affairs Office) of the Party Committee and the School Youth League Committee, bringing together a choir composed of teachers and students from 26 units in the school. The school leaders guided and joined the choir to sing passionately throughout the entire process. Each choir expresses their infinite love and sincere blessings for the Party and the motherland through their singing with full enthusiasm and exquisite skills. The exhibition is co hosted by full-time counselors Wang Qianqian and Li Minghan, as well as 2023 students Zhao Xinyi and Liu Spruce from the School of Journalism and Communication.
The performance was titled with I Love You, China, sung by four teachers from the Conservatory of Music, Li Yue, Hu Xiaojie, Xue Qisong and Zhang Hongming. Through three chapters, Blood in the War of War, Faith will always be handed down, and I am the Great Revival and Powerful Country, the performance reviewed the magnificent chapter of the Chinese people's bloody struggle in the Anti Japanese War, praised the development, changes and brilliant achievements of the great motherland under the leadership of the CPC, and more reflected the spirit of Shen Shiren who did not shoulder the mission of the times and was uplifting.
The Songfeng Hongyun Choir of the Marxist Academy kicked off the performance with a song On the Songhua River, and the melancholic and profound singing instantly took the audience back to the years of war and turmoil. Subsequently, each choir took the stage one by one, full of vigor and heroic spirit, and performed classic works such as Guerrilla Song and Great Wall Ballad, praising the indomitable spirit of the Chinese nation in the resistance against Japan; The new voices of the times, such as The Red Flag Flutters and Walking in the New Era, deeply express sincere praise for the prosperity and flourishing of the motherland and infinite longing for a better future. After the performance of the Joyful Sound of the Organization choir, they passionately opened with the March of the Big Sword and then sang Embroidered Red Flag. At this moment, the Tiananmen Area Management Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Government presented our school with the national flag numbered 2021-0056, which was solemnly displayed at the exhibition site under the escort of the school flag guard team. The choir continued to sing 'I Love You, China', with the school leaders' resounding drums running through it. The audience stood up to participate in the choir, with a grand and passionate atmosphere. Each song in the entire exhibition embodies the characteristics of each unit and the ingenuity of teachers and students. The performance forms are rich and diverse, and the stage effects are splendid, providing a high-level audio-visual feast for both live and online audiences.
The atmosphere of the entire exhibition was lively and the climax was frequent. The singing on stage is loud and clear, with sincere emotions; There was constant applause and frequent interaction in the audience. The teachers and students, with full enthusiasm and majestic singing, raised the main theme of loving the Party, loving the country, and loving the school, demonstrating the spirit of our school's teachers and students remembering their instructions, being grateful and striving forward, and the resolute determination to write a new chapter of high-quality development for the school's cause.
After the exhibition, a grand choir award ceremony was held. The attending school leaders presented awards to the units that have won the Navigation Demonstration Award, Special Contribution Award, Excellent Organization Award, Most Creative Award, Best Fashion Award, Best Popularity Award, as well as the Special Award, First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize.
Finally, all attending teachers and students stood up and sang Sing the Motherland together, praising the great motherland with passionate and heroic singing, and expressing patriotic feelings.
This exhibition is not only a solemn tribute by the teachers and students of Shenyang Normal University to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War with their singing, but also a vivid practice of the school to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, deepen ideological and political work, and cultivate the soul and enlighten the mind.
