I. School Overview
Shenyang Normal University is affiliated with the People's Government of Liaoning Province and was established in 1951. In 2025, the university was recognized as a National Civilized Campus. The university covers an area of 123 hectares and has a building area of 95 hectares. The university is a recipient unit of the Chinese Government Scholarship and the International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship.
II. Undergraduate Major
Duration of study: The study period is 4 years. The minimum duration of study cannot be less than 3 years, and the maximum cannot exceed 6 years.

III. Application Conditions
1.Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health;
2.If both parents or one of them is a Chinese citizen and has settled in a foreign country, and the applicant has a foreign nationality at birth to apply for undergraduate program study in China, the applicant must hold a valid foreign passport or foreign nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive) and must have a record of having lived in a foreign country for more than 2 years within the recent 4 years (up to April 30, 2026).The actual living abroad for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamp of passport;
3.Applicants shall be between the age of 18 and 25, and must have graduated with a high school diploma;
4.Applicants have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 4);
5.Take the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (short as CSCA) and upload a valid score report when applying for bachelor programs (Official website of CSCA: www.csca.cn ).

V. Application Materials
1.Shenyang Normal University International Student Application Form;
2.Copy of Passport Home Page, One blank page of passport. If the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before September 2026), please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;
3.Notarized highest diploma
Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
4.Transcripts
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
5.Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months;
6.Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application;
7.A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK tests (within the two-year validity);
8.CSCA Score Report. Applicants seeking to pursue a bachelor's degree must register for and take the CSCA before the application deadline, and obtain a valid Score Report. Mandatory test subjects: 1. Professional Chinese(The professional Chinese category is divided into Humanities and STEM. Please contact our university regarding the selection of the professional Chinese category. Self-funded students applying for the Chinese Language and Literature major can be exempted from the professional Chinese examination if they have a valid report of HSK Level 4.) 2. Mathematics;
9.Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant documents of entrusted legal guardians in China;
10. Digital 2-inch photo.

6. Visa fee: 400 yuan for less than one year; 800 yuan for 1-3 years; 1000 yuan for more than 3 years (May vary)
