The second session of the special training course on artificial intelligence promoting teacher team building was held at our school
On September 22, in order to implement the deployment of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education on the construction of teacher teams empowered by artificial intelligence, the second phase of the special training course on artificial intelligence to promote teacher team construction, hosted by the Provincial Department of Education and organized by Shenyang Normal University and Liaoning Provincial Electronic Education Center, was held at our school. Vice President Zhao Liqiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The director (minister, director) of the Digital Campus Construction Office (Computer Basic Teaching Department, Liaoning Provincial Electronic Education Museum), High Speed Rail, just presided over the opening ceremony.
Zhao Liqiang introduced the practices and achievements of our school in serving teacher education throughout the province, digital transformation of education, and empowering education with artificial intelligence, as well as our school's work experience in teacher education, teacher education team building, teacher collaborative training, and pre service and post service teacher integration. He stated that serving the education of teachers throughout the province is an important responsibility of our school. Faced with the profound impact of digital intelligence technology, represented by artificial intelligence technology, on the education field, the school has taken the initiative to conduct in-depth research on forward-looking, strategic, global, and key issues, actively carried out pilot work, and formed a group of mature, referenceable, and promotable teaching methods, teaching organizational forms, and typical cases empowered by artificial intelligence. We have actively built a new ecology for the construction of the education team in the era of digital intelligence and improved our ability to serve teacher education work.
After the opening ceremony, Zhao Liqiang studied with the students the important reply from General Secretary Xi Jinping to the representatives of national special post teachers. Professor Li Yushun from Beijing Normal University gave the first report titled Practice and Development Thinking of Artificial Intelligence Education in Primary and Secondary Schools.
The main theme of this training is Empowering Teacher Professional Development with Artificial Intelligence, focusing on five aspects of teacher professional development concept innovation, subject teaching reform innovation, teacher intelligence literacy improvement, intelligent technology practical operation, and artificial intelligence education ethics under the empowerment of artificial intelligence. It aims to promote teachers to actively adapt to new technological changes such as artificial intelligence and actively and effectively carry out education and teaching.
This training lasted for 6 days and invited experts from Beijing Normal University, Northeast Normal University, Liaoning Normal University, Tianjin Education Science Research Institute, Shenyang No.2 Middle School, and our school to give presentations. We conducted on-site inspections of the future campus of Shenyang No.43 Middle School and Shenyang No.134 School, established online and offline collaboration mechanisms, and built a platform for deep learning and communication for students. 100 students from all over the province (including Shen Fu) participated in the training.
